HONG KONG BAPTIST UNIVERSITY WIND SYMPHONY
HKBU Wind Symphony is a wind ensemble established in 2012, gathering more than 80 players currently. With coaching of Victor Tam, the founder, chairman and principal conductor of the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia, the ensemble has developed a strong wind ensemble base and had regular performances.

The Wind Symphony had its first concert titled in the Academic Community Hall at Hong Kong Baptist University in April 2013, presenting Rimsky-Korsakov's Trombone Concerto with Jarod Vermette, Principal Trombone of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Wind Symphony has a very diverse winds repertoire, including standard wind band works, concerto pieces, rearrangements of famous orchestral and piano solo pieces, as well as contemporary music. In recent years, the Wind Symphony has cooperated with various soloists, such as well-known pianists Cheng Wai and Nancy Loo, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra principal bass clarinet Lorenzo Iosco, local flutist Matthew Wu and clarinetist Daniel Chair.
