Grand Final RNCM Manchester 19 February 2011
Each semi-finalist played and recorded up to 10 minutes of music which were sent to the judges, Paul Archibald and Les Neish, who will jointly select four performers for the final. Highlights will be broadcast in Frank Renton's 'Listen To The Band' ' on Thurs 3 Feb.

Michael Cavanagh, 16, from Stockport - baritone
James Mcleod, 19, from Tyne and Wear - euphonium
Jonathan Bates, 15, from Huddersfield - tenor horn
Lewis Musson, 20, from Manchester - euphonium

The Grand Final 19 February 2011

From the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, Frank Renton presents the final, where the four finalists will perform a programme of no more than 10 minutes each, accompanied by The Black Dyke Band.

One of the performers will then receive a trophy as well as an invitation to perform as a guest soloist with one of the UK's top brass bands. The winner will also be awarded with a guest appearance on Radio 2's Friday Night Is Music Night . The final will be broadcast on Radio 2 shortly after.
