English Brass Ensemble |
Chamber music for brass instruments is a genre that has evolved only in the last fifty years and since its formation in 1974 the English Brass Ensemble has developed and expanded the repertoire by encouraging composers to write for this medium.
The ensemble has enjoyed working with choral groups including the BBC Singers and the choirs of Salisbury Cathedral and St Paul's Cathedral and has undertaken many tours under the auspices of the British Council.
